Triple Trouble is the second book in the Found in Oblivion series. I loved the Lost in Oblivion series and this one is great so far also. I didn't know as I started the book that I was going to like the premise of the story. I was a bit surprised to read that Cari and Taryn had written this story line. Not everyone enjoys a book about a three sided relationship. But they handled this topic beautifully. The story is about Juliet who is the bassist in Warning Sign; Randy who is the lighting director for the group and Tristan who is Randy's best friend and the chef at a very posh restaurant. Randy has desired Juliet from afar for some time; thinking he wasn't good enough for her. But the three of them all are at a wedding of a best friend and when Tristan puts the moves on Juliet; it send Randy into a tailspin. But when an opportunity is presented fro all of them being together they all decide that is sounds really interesting. It was suppose to be just for one time..but will that be enough? I won't ruin the book for you you will have to read it to find out. Let me just say that if you read it you will not be disappointed. Cari and Taryn give you each character's thoughts about what is happening and what each one wants out of this encounter. Cari and Taryn really know how to give you a good book. They have not disappointed me yet. Please read the book you will love it!!!I was provided with an ARC of this book for a honest review.

One girl + two men = Hot
Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn have outdone themselves with this smoking hot story! In Triple Trouble, book 2 of the Found in Oblivion series, you are reacquainted with characters that were introduced in their hit series Lost in Oblivion. You do not have to read that series first but I highly recommend it because it is just awesome. Just so you know, their series have cameo appearances in each others series and it is great to get a peek again at some of your favorite book boyfriends and people who you loved from their books.
Juliet is the bassist for the new up and coming band Warning Sign. Tristan is a popular chef in LA and Randy (Sparks) is Tristan's best friend and lighting director for Warning Sign. At a wedding (from yet another series, Hammered, which was cute, funny and sexy) these 3 end up agreeing to one night of fun, which was not enough for any of them. They have individual issues to work through and have to find a way to make a triad work for them. The story is steamy and hot but deeper than just sex. Sparks tries to explain to his sister Harper (from LIO), Something about us just works. I know it seems out there and probably ripe to become a disaster. Maybe it will. I can't see into the future. All I know is we started on a lark, and somehow here we are. I can't see myself without Juliet. Or Tristan.
Taryn and Cari are great at making you feel the emotions, they can transport you to a concert and you can feel the excitement. The characters delve into their feelings and deal with every day emotional issues that any reader can relate to.
Did I mention that I could not read this in the same room as my kids? Definitely one of the hottest books I have read. I finished it in one day, which is unheard of for me.

I had a hard time with this one. I can't decide if I liked it or not. Part of the reason is that it just doesn't fit the existing dynamic of how three people romances are generally written..when all three people are all in and it's them against the world. Here the problem is internal which just doesn't work for me. Additionally, Tristan is such an unlikeable character. He's shallow and whiny and self-involved. It stands out so particularly because Randy is so much the opposite. I had a difficult time cheering for a happy ending for all three of them in this one. That's too bad as I did like Randy and Juliet and I liked the story and it's development, minus Tristan.
Another issue for me was the continual reference to characters from the previous series. It interfered with my ability to fully enjoy this story because I always felt like I was missing information I should have to better understand what was happening. There are just too many references to what came before to be able to enjoy this book on its own. I think it's one of the problems faced by writers of series and it's a tough line to walk. Some authors do it better than others. It's one of the reasons I always read series in order though with this book I was unaware of the existing books before I started reading this one which I got via Bookbub.
As a result I doubt I'll read the rest of this series.
OMG! Cari and Taryn have blown me away again. Just when I think I'm immune to anymore highs and lows like they have given me in past books, they do it all again. Not a huge fan of m/f/m, but this book has made me a convert. So hot! Juliet - talented, troubled, amazingly brave; Tris - flamboyant, talented, emotionally remote; Randy - quiet alpha male, talented (notice a theme here yet?), sensitive - separately they are great, but not amazing. Together though? Out of this freaking world - just like the sex. I actually put down the book a few times to go for a run so thanks to Cari and Taryn for the boost in my exercise regime. lol If Cari and Taryn are not automatic one-clicks for you - YOU NEED TO MAKE THEM!! Love my extended LIO family. It is not required to start with the Oblivion family, but since all the books are stand alones, but include characters from other books, I encourage you to get them all! Note I did receive an ARC for my honest review, but I also prepurchased the book because these authors are amazing.
